Main work area. The studio is based around a Mac running Logic Pro 7. The MX9000 console in the foreground is used for for routing, summing, and monitoring. Mixing is done via the Logic Control and XT control surfaces. The Mac also contains a UAD-1 DSP card, Layla 24 audio interface, Firewire800 and USB2 cards. Midi I/O is via an Emagic Unitor8 with 3 AMT-8's cascaded (32 discrete ports). Additional audio I/O via a Motu 828Mk2, 828Mk1, Presonus Firebox. Multiple 'Aggregate Device' configurations are set up to handle different combinations of audio interfaces. Monitoring is a Halfler amp and Event 20/20 monitors. The LCD panels are both dual input - each is attached to the Mac. The second input of one is connected to a PC hosting my OasysPCI card, the other LCD's second input if available for my MacBook Pro's DVI out.
